Responsibilities
As a Manual Material Handler, your primary duties will include:
Material Handling: Stack bundles of cardboard onto skids or feed them into packing machines, handling up to 50 lbs of materials continuously.
Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections of bundles to identify and address any imperfections before stacking.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team and provide assistance to the machine operator as needed.
Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the department.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
Previous Warehouse Experience: Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs continuously throughout your shift.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently without constant supervision.
Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts and adapt to the needs of the business
Great asset if you have previous background in paper or printing manufacturing background
