Shift: Days and Afternoons - biweekly rotation
Pay rate: $30-36 depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual equipment
- Machine product to specified requirements as defined within production shop orders, drawings and sketches
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Administer metrology knowledge and experience as necessary
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling of large product
- Maintain equipment in safe and productive condition, including but not limited to, regular routine lubrication, cleaning, maintaining coolant levels
- Shovel chips generated by machinery; grind parts and assist and support fellow employees in their duties, when/as required
Qualifications
- Prior Machinist experience required - a machinist ticket would be an asset
- High school diploma required
- A good understanding of machining principles is essential
- Good knowledge of cutting tools as well as speeds and feeds an asset
- Simple trigonometry calculations required
- Good command of the English language both written and verbal
- Familiarity with material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) and the safe handling of large objects
- Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skill
