Our client has been one the trusted names in their industry for almost 100 years and is recognized worldwide for their quality products and services. We're looking for a day shift Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic who takes pride in their work and loves "rolling up their sleeves".
With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we are currently seeking a talented Shock Absorber and Driveline Alignment apprentice Mechanic to join their team.
This role is crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of vehicle suspension systems and driveline components. If you are passionate about truck repair and have experience in shock absorber maintenance, driveline alignment, and various heavy-duty truck systems, we want to hear from you.
Advantages
The journeyperson rate is $39.03/hr with some bonuses. + $12 to spend in the cafeteria bi-weekly.
Straight days: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeymen, you'll be working in the repair shop:
Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicle shock absorbers, steering, and suspension systems, diagnosing issues ranging from light to heavy-duty trucks
Remove and replace truck suspension components including springs, steering components, and kingpins
Align both light and heavy-duty trucks and trailers to manufacturer specifications
Inspect, diagnose, and repair various automotive and truck suspensions, ensuring optimal performance and safety
Inspect, diagnose, and repair various driveline components, including driveshafts and axles, to ensure smooth operation
Perform general mechanical repairs as needed to address a wide range of vehicle issues
Qualifications
Heavy Duty Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician Journeymen
Experience as a Truck mechanic, with expertise in shock absorber maintenance, driveline alignment, and heavy-duty truck systems preferred
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle suspension, steering, and driveline components
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
