Responsibilities
The heavy-duty mechanical technician responsibilities are:
- Do all maintenance on vehicles and ground support equipment
- Preventive and corrective maintenance on deck loaders, vehicles and with diesel equipment.
- Replace and repair faulty components, including parts, valves, bearings and gears. Tighten the bolts and screws and reassemble the equipment.
- Fill out purchase orders and do the billing
- Update and maintain service history.
- Comply with health and safety program and practices.
- Work independently
Qualifications
The heavy-duty mechanical technician qualifications are:
- DEP in heavy mechanic or industrial mechanic or relevant experience
- Experience as in heavy-duty mechanic, Diesel engines and heavy machinery.
- Looking for an autonomous person with good mechanical troubleshooting skills
- 5 to 15 years experience in mechanical maintenance
- Good computer skills
