Responsibilities
As a Heavy Equipment Technician for this great company located in Ottawa West, a normal day would include:
-Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely manner
-Perform all scheduled maintenance on equipment
-Maintain a log of all repairs and service performed
-Ability to work independently and knowing when to ask for help when needed
-Clearly identify issues and next steps to the next shifts
-Demonstrate effective team work to ensure jobs are completed on time and meet health and safety requirements
Qualifications
Who is the perfect match for Heavy Equipment Technician position:
-Must have own set of mechanic tools
-Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Technician
-No certificate is required, but it is an asset
-A skill for mechanical repairs and great communication skills
-Be safety-focused to ensure that the work that you do keeps you and your coworkers safe
-Cleared criminal background check and clean driving abstract
