We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated, fully ticketed (red seal) maintenance industrial electrician for a Lethbridge manufacturing company, who leads the way in their industry, but has a close-knit team keeping it running.
As a fully ticketed maintenance staff member, you will be responsible for performing electrical work and millwright tasks in a manufacturing plant.
As this is a maintenance role in an automated facility, candidates must be fully ticketed (Red Seal) industrial electricians who are able to also do millwright maintenance work.
This is a full time permanent role in the city of Lethbridge Alberta with no travel.

Responsibilities
- Electrical work (20-30%) and millwright tasks
- Perform PMs, rebuilds, and repairs on automated manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, including AC/DC drives, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, VFDs / PLCs, air actuated valves, and pneumatics (limited hydraulics)
- Maintain a variety of machines, including compressors, boilers (200 hp), and pumps (mostly liquid displace and centrifugal)
- Work with Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDs (no programming needed)
- Use welding skills to work with stainless steel
- Upgrade machines when needed
- Recommend to management process improvement
Qualifications
Mandatory red seal industrial electrician ticket
Familiarity with the maintenance world
Ability to work rotating shifts (2 on > 2 off > 5 on > 5 off, alternating between days afternoons and nights)
Availability to be the only maintenance person on duty during the night shift (12 am to 7 am)
Ability to work well with others and be a self-starter
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work with older, well-maintained equipment
