Responsibilities
-Perform High-Quality Welds: Execute precise MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), and TIG welding on a variety of materials and projects.
- Fabrication
- Welding AND fitting
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Accurately read and follow blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to complete projects to specification.
- Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect welding equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Work closely with other welders, fabricators, and team members to ensure project deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet company standards and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the welding process.
Qualifications
- Must hold a journeyman welder ticket***
- Must have experience with Fabrication & Fitting
- 5 years of experience as a journeyman is an asset
- Must have experience with Mig, Tig and SMAW
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Ability to provide your own 6" steel-toed boots
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs, working at heights, agility, and navigating equipment and ladders
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)
