Our client is looking to add a Jr. Shipper to their team! This is a PERMANENT role available in the Mississauga area near Kennedy and Matheson.
TITLE: Jr. Shipper
SHIFT: 7:30 AM - 4 PM Monday to Friday
PAY: $18/hr.

- Must be computer savy as you will be supporting with the expediting of labels for outgoing shipment
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Open to learning
- Receptive to feedback
- Successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience as a shipper
- 1 year working in a warehouse setting as there will be multitasking involved
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities
- Manage the shipping process to ensure shipments are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Support with managing inventory levels, while diligently recording existing inventory
-Responsible for picking and assembling orders, preparing orders for shipment, and loading and unloading trucks
- Responsible for receiving shipments by signing for incoming shipments, inspecting products, and ensuring proper and accurate paperwork is maintained
Qualifications
- 1 Year Shipper Experience
- Working knowledge of computer programs
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal and written instructions
- Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to communicate effectively with coworkers, and management
- Must have safety shoes
