This is a 12-month contract with our client in the Finance Industry, which requires the L&D Project Manager to work in our client's downtown Toronto office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
• Partner with Learning Solutions Architects, the Senior Manager and Program Manager of Mandatory Learning to lead or support the planning and execution of mid-complexity learning and development projects. This includes designing, developing, and delivering both internal and outsourced enterprise-wide and business-specific learning solutions.
• Understand the processes involved in learning development and delivery within our client environment, including virtual classrooms, eLearning, webinars, self-paced materials, and workshops.
• Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies using key project management tools, such as charters, project schedules, and change requests, to ensure tight governance and risk management throughout the project or program.
• Maintain a strong client focus by listening and quickly learning about the various clients served by the Learning function, becoming a trusted advisor for successful project delivery.
• Lead the quality review of training content provided by external vendors, ensuring alignment with program strategy and addressing any concerns.
• Support low to medium complexity learning and development needs, such as coordinating asset distribution between stakeholders and external vendors, and organizing French translations.
• Assist with deployment activities, including submitting artifacts for approval and tracking the approval process.
• Work with Learning and Development partners, project managers, and external vendors to meet key milestones and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with the LMS and business deployment teams to define and obtain approval for LMS specification documents.
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of experience in Learning & Development.
• PMP and Agile certifications are a nice to have.
• Experience in project/program support, planning, and implementation.
• Ability to absorb, synthesize, and analyze large amounts of information or research.
• Enjoy tackling complex issues.
• Proven planning and project management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects and shifting priorities under tight timelines and with various stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building skills, including with executives, L&D Centers of Excellence, HR Data & Analytics teams, and external partners/vendors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to continually assess and prioritize workflow based on project needs.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to projects to advance them.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders using strong communication, negotiation, consensus-building, and influencing skills.
• Solutions-oriented with a positive, "can-do" attitude to foster team morale and engagement.
• Demonstrated agility and strong organizational skills to show progress in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite, especially MS Project.
• Familiarity with facilitating team meetings in virtual environments using collaboration tools such as Adobe Connect, WebEx, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience supporting eLearning across multiple platforms (e.g., HTML 5 output for tablets, smartphones, and desktops as a single SCORM package) is a plus.
• Knowledge of eLearning tools and standards (e.g., SCORM, AICC, HTML 5) and experience with industry development software like Articulate and Adobe Connect is a plus.
