- Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week, flexible hours
- Salary varies from 50k to 65k depending on experience
- Insurance provided after 3 months' probation

Responsibilities
- Receive freight requests by telephone, e-mail or other means from customers, the underwriting department and sales representatives.
- Process information received in order to find a carrier covering that region
- Negotiate travel conditions and rates with carriers, in order to obtain the best service at the best price.
- Monitor transport movements carried out by carriers
- Research, identify and develop commercial links with transport companies likely to carry out transport in the regions.
- Maintain links with carriers and tariff agreements.
- Track all movements to ensure that all documents required for invoicing and proof of delivery are on hand.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Good knowledge of the territory (asset)
- Degree in transportation and logistics / supply chain (asset)
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
