Responsibilities
- Respond to customer requests for quotations for various merchandise deliveries.
- Identify customer needs and meet their expectations and/or suggest a solution, if necessary, using appropriate and effective communication techniques.
- Coordinate travel with partners to meet customer requirements;
- Provide customers with information and advice on the various services offered by the Logistics Division.
- Verify with shipper and consignee various information to anticipate problems en route.
- Verify with the shipper and consignee the opening hours and information given by the payer before dispatching the trip;
- Follow-up and update partner files in the system;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Bilingualism is necessary (French & English)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in the transportation industry
- Knowledge of AS400, Loadlink and DispatchMate is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good speed of execution and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Good stress and priority management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
