Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics needs for the clients shipment requests for over-the-road LTL and FTL cross-border and inter-Canada shipments
- Manage the relations with transporter companies
- Answer to quotes and rates requests, using negotiation skills for best profit margins
- Maintain positive relationships with all customers, clients, carriers and internal staff
- Stay on-top of delivery statuses, track and trace, proactively communicate update with customers
- Anticipate customer needs and facilitate resolutions
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the trucking industry
- Experience with 3PL
- Advanced English communication skills, French is an asset
- Dynamic, multitasking, sense of urgency, team player
- Strong communication, organization skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of computer system and Truckmate and Loadlink (Asset)
