Main Responsibilities for the Lead CNC Machinist role;
Leading & follow up on assigned work
Assigning and explaining daily tasks to Machinists - overseeing work progress and compliance
Training and assisting Machinists

Responsibilities
Consistently monitoring employee performance and identifying areas of improvement
Lead all training and orientation for new team members
Machine inspections and maintenance
Overseeing the execution of work orders issued to the shop, documenting, and reporting any deficiencies with recommended effective solutions
Set-up and operate both lathes and mills (both CNC and Manual)
Qualifications
3+ years Machining experience and Supervisory experience
Experience in Aerospace, or Nuclear machining
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Sigma Six and /or other Continual Improvement experience an asset
Knowledge with ISO 9001:2015 or CSA N299.3
Understanding of GD&T
