Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance work.
- Review and prioritize SAP work orders within 24 hours.
- Maintain current work order backlog for reporting and address compelling business needs.
- Manage planned maintenance using SIMPTWW (safety, info, materials, people, tools, where, when).
- Maintain job plan archive in SAP.
- Lead daily meetings to review job completions and adjust plans as needed.
- Coordinate with line/process leads on planned stops, integrating SAP work orders.
- Schedule maintenance for the upcoming week in weekly planning meetings.
- Schedule next month’s maintenance work in monthly meetings based on the annual plan.
- Investigate breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Optimize line start-up, shutdown, and major maintenance interventions with leads.
- Revise and update maintenance technical documentation as needed.
- Create one point lessons (OPLs) and train line teams in maintenance activities.
- Develop and update the annual maintenance plan and calendar.
- Track and report maintenance indicators and in-process measures.
- Ensure maintenance outputs and measures are current.
- Address activities impacting maintenance indicators to correct direction.
- Use maintenance KPIs and measures to assess MPS system progress and equipment reliability; share results monthly.
- Monitor the health of the progressive maintenance daily management system and implement corrective actions:
- Breakdown elimination (BDE)
- Maintenance planning and scheduling (MPS)
- Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM): clean, inspect, lubricate (CIL), centerline (CL), defect handling (DH)
- Oversee workshop and facilities, lubrication, maintenance costs, parts usage, and lifespan.
- Oversee continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Maintenance training and integrated work system (IWS) / high performance organization (HPO) training
- Strong organizational and technical skills
- Ability to set priorities
- Excellent communication, coaching, and training skills
- Technical skills with equipment and tools
- Proficient in Autonomous Maintenance
- Knowledge of Progressive Maintenance
- Understanding of problem-solving processes
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling (MPS) workshops
- Participation in breakdown elimination (BDE) workshops
- Knowledge of maintenance management information systems and storeroom skills
- Familiarity with AM and PM visual standards
