We are currently seeking a fully ticketed millwright or industrial electrician with manager experience to be a Maintenance Manager, overseeing the maintenance team, and contribute to continued success.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
Overseeing a team of 20 maintenance technicians, including fully ticketed personnel and apprentices.
Providing motivation, coaching, development, direction, and support to the maintenance team
Ensuring that all preventive maintenance (PM) plans for the machinery is executed effectively, making adjustments as needed.
Participating (with guidance from HR) on all team reviews, growth and coaching practices (and be a part of any discipline, hiring or termination process).
Conducting performance management, including coaching, reviews, and developing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Ensure accurate payroll entries, address scheduling inconsistencies, and organize trade team vacation schedules.
Supporting and documenting all training activities for maintenance personnel.
Collaborating closely with the commissioning team, being aware of inventory levels, and coordinating upcoming rebuild projects.
Conduct risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Manage budgets and timelines for projects, maintaining financial accountability.
Foster a culture of staff engagement, empowerment, and accountability, aligned with company values.
Qualifications
What you bring:
A red seal in Industrial Electrician or Millwright.
7+ years of progressive leadership in preventative maintenance, mechanical work, or project management, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large teams in maintenance coming from a production and / or manufacturing industry.
The ability to develop a and maintain a strategic 3–5-year management and site maintenance plan.
Able to provide direction for asset management and maintenance, including capital project recommendations.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and work independently.
Excellent communication skills for internal/external stakeholders and corporate representation.
