Our client located in Bedford in the food sector is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join their team.
In this role you will manage and control the maintenance functions in the plant and be responsible for all associated technical issues.

Responsibilities
supervising maintenance and storeroom staff
Enter track and analyze of data in CMMS
Create and modify PM tasks
Prepare work packages for every planned maintenance activity inclusive of repetitive maintenance
Perform kitting and staging prior to scheduled preventative maintenance to facilitate maintenance team
Generate work orders, follow up and close work orders in a timely fashion
Order, receive and supervise required purchases of material to assist maintenance activities
Execute modification in maintenance records and key equipment with significant spares during setting apt reorder levels along with quantities.
Plan work activities around the least amount production downtime.
analyze data and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems root cause analysis.
Qualifications
Good working knowledge of Industrial maintenance and reliability processes
Basic knowledge of inventory management
Knowledge of CMMS,
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office tools)
Good communications skills (verbal and written).
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Good understanding of 5S methodology
Comfortable supervising unionized employees
Industrial maintenance experience as a maintenance planner , supervisor or facilitator is an asset
Industrial trade , mechanical or electrical engineering considerd an asset.
