The Maintenance Planner is tasked with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance activities within the plant. This role includes creating maintenance schedules, ensuring materials and equipment are available, and collaborating closely with maintenance teams to guarantee tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Planner is essential in reducing downtime and enhancing equipment reliability by ensuring maintenance activities are well-organized and executed.

Responsibilities
Create, review, and manage work orders, ensuring all essential information is included for successful task execution.
Monitor and report on the status of work orders, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
Document all maintenance activities in SAP, including entering purchase requisitions and adding Bills of Material for equipment.
Identify and allocate the necessary resources, including labor, materials, tools, and equipment, for the successful execution of maintenance tasks.
Collaborate closely with the procurement department to ensure that spare parts and materials are available as needed, in accordance with the inventory setup in SAP.
Oversee and monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and parts.
Issue RFQs to suppliers for spare parts and equipment.
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
Participate in safety audits and inspections, contributing to the development of corrective actions as required.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program standards according to OEM instructions.
Keep up to date with equipment manufacturers' recommendations and make necessary updates in SAP.
Participate in departmental planning meetings to align maintenance strategies.
Work closely with maintenance technicians and engineers to ensure effective coordination of all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
A college diploma in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning.
Proficiency with SAP and MRP systems is required.
APP (Accredited Purchasing Practitioner) or CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional) is a plus
Experience managing inventory in a manufacturing setting, including organizing stock, issuing supplies and equipment, and interacting with suppliers.
