Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
• Champion a safety-first work environment and cultivate a safety-conscious workforce, striving for zero injuries. Promptly investigate and report any incidents.
• Ensure that all areas of responsibility adhere to the highest environmental standards.
• Supervise the Effluent treatment and Boilers, implementing operational and maintenance changes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
• Communicate and enforce production safety and quality goals, taking appropriate actions as necessary.
• Monitor, evaluate, and review employee performance. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance performance and facilitate succession planning.
• Foster effective communication by attending supervisor meetings, coordinating activities with other departments, and providing regular updates to the team.
• Address employee relation issues promptly, consistently, and fairly to maintain a positive work environment.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, special projects, and report preparation as directed by Senior Management.
Qualifications
What do you bring to the role?
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in Maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to engage with individuals at all levels of the organization, from management to front-line employees.
• Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and follow through on commitments.
• Strong knowledge and experience with boilers and water treatment operations
