Our client in Brampton is looking for a dedicated, motivated, talented (unlicensed) Maintenance Technician to join their growing team.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring all PMs are carried out to a timely satisfactory measure.
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair.
- Helping to develop new maintenance strategies to improve operational efficiencies.
- Updating machinery records utilizing CMMS
- Support production activities to meet overall O.E.E. objectives.
- Installation of plant equipment both mechanically and electrically
- Working alongside contractor and suppliers
- Ensuring the presses, tools, auxiliary equipment, and production area are kept in a clean and safe
condition.
- Reporting any faults or at-risk conditions with the machinery or working conditions to ensure they are
rectified to maintain a safe workplace.
- Ensuring all tasks are carried in a safe and professional manner following SOP’s.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve safety and productivity.
- Participate in individual and team based continuous activities.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Supporting apprentices when required
Qualifications
Mechanical and Electrical experience required.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Ability to fault find and resolve on electrical and mechanical equipment and systems
Computer literacy
Knowledge of OMRON, Siemens, & Mitsubishi PLC's is an asset
Previous experience in food packaging manufacturing environment is an asset.
Power Press experience is an asset.
