Responsibilities
• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the PMO processes
and procedures.
• Manage the PMO team and provide leadership, guidance, and support to program managers,
project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project management standards, tools, and templates, ensuring they align
with industry best practices.
• Monitor and report on project progress, providing insights and recommendations to project
managers and other stakeholders.
• Identify, analyze, and manage risks and issues across portfolio, projects, and escalate to senior
management when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are not only just delivered on time, within scope, and within budget but effectively manage risks to business value
• Facilitate the development of project plans, budgets, and timelines, and ensure adherence to them
throughout the project lifecycle along with business value delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are
met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to project managers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and
knowledge to deliver successful projects.
• Manage project participants and relationships ensuring project teams are cohesive and operating to common objectives and priorities.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; Masters degree
preferred.
• Professional certifications PMP, PgMP, ACP, etc. will be preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management, with at least 3 years in a PMO management role
• Hands-on experience in project/portfolio resource planning, reporting, and budgeting
• Understands the organization’s policy framework, management structures, and reporting
procedures for all aspects of project and program management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver business value.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with
all levels of an organization and Onshore/Offshore Teams.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall,
and experience implementing them in a PMO setting.
• Excellent knowledge of Software Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure deployment processes
• Familiarity with project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project
Server, Jira, Trello, or Planview.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on insights.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to influence without authority through negotiation, interpersonal skills and motivational skills.
