Position Details:
Location: Calgary, SE area (Transit accessible)
Duration: 6-month project (Opportunity for immediate start upon successful evaluation)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts flexible between 6AM-4PM
Hourly Pay: $22-25 (based on experience and relevant educational background)

Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Production Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Assembling and disassembling mechanical devices used in coating applications, including molds and proprietary equipment
Interpreting detailed drawings
Using calibrated measuring equipment to verify measurements against engineered drawings
Fastening bolts and hardware to specified tolerances using hand and power tools
Performing simple machinist duties
Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, including impact tools
Complying with safety regulations and following established business processes
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Proven direct experience with hands-on work in assembly
Proven experience in industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, automotive, irrigation, or related fields
Advanced mechanical aptitude
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in computer and soft skills
Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required
Requirements:
Candidates must be able to pass:
Drug and alcohol tests
Criminal background checks
