Responsibilities
Install, set up adjust, and maintain equipment. Troubleshoot and do preventative maintenance on the plant, plant grounds, machinery, and equipment.
• Essential Functions
• Perform varied mechanical duties such as dismantling, moving, repairing and installing equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical problems on equipment and take steps to correct
• Start up and shut down equipment in line with company lockout – tag-out procedures
• Assist with installation and/or changes to the layout of machines and mechanical equipmentMechanical Aptitude: Effectively uses hand tools, basic power tools, and machine shop equipment.
Qualifications
• Must be a certified Industrial Millwright 433A
• Previous experience in the Automotive Industry•
•Experience in Injection Molding and Assembly is preferred
• Effective communication skills are required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required for this position
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Fabrication experience is an asset
• Welding experience is an asset
• Electrical experience is an asset
• Hydraulic experience is an asset
• Electrical Aptitude: Effectively uses electrical hand tools such as wire cutters, labelers, etc. to build panels and perform wiring tasks (no "hot work")
• Hydraulic Aptitude: Effectively applies knowledge of the use of fluids to perform mechanical tasks.
• Drawing Interpretation: Reads and interprets mechanical and electrical drawings for assembly or diagnostic.
