Responsibilities
- Perform necessary repairs and adjustments on Originating and Vision machine transfer equipment.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components.
- Access and input work order information through the Maintenance Program.
- Notify the supervisor of any required repairs or supplies for the department.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean and safe.
- Install, disassemble, assess, troubleshoot, repair, and carry out preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move materials, machinery, and components.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.
- Train colleagues on the most up-to-date and efficient operating methods.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated authority.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems (including PLCs) for installation, repair, troubleshooting, and dismantling.
- Physical capability and mental aptitude to perform essential job functions.
- Knowledge of safety devices on all machines and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Adequate oral and written communication skills for effective information exchange.
- Strong decision-making skills based on situation assessment and prioritization.
- Basic computer proficiency.
