Role & Responsibilities
- Install, examine, replace or repair machines in a timely manner
- Perform preventative maintenance to equipment as required, including minor electrical repairs, welding and fabrication.
- Adhere to maintenance schedule/plan – make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
- Read and interpret Hyd, pneumatic and mechanical drawings. Identify replacement parts and understand equipment layout.
- Maintain repair, test, and install electrical motors, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
- Use proper lockout/tag-out procedures when required, never allowing a machine to be operated without proper guarding or when the possibility of injury is evident
Qualifications
- Must have valid 433A certificate
- 3-5 years millwright experience.
- Forklift, scissor lift, welding, and other related certification (asset)
- Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50-100 lbs
- Prior manufacturing experience in a similar role is required
- Must be available to work 12 hour continental shift schedule
