Responsibilities
• Oversee the delivery of the technical milestones and phases of the project
• Manage the budgets and deadlines for the project
• Design of public sector municipal servicing projects
• Design and project execution for municipal infrastructure projects including: watermain, sewers, retaining
walls, pumping stations, road design
• Review design drawings
• Manage the development of contract specifications and documentation;
• Review and analyze project schedules for activities
• Provide input to the preparation of proposals, project cost estimates, and budgets in collaboration with the
Senior Management
• Liaise with the various municipal/utility/approval agencies
• Author feasibility studies and technical engineering reports;
Qualifications
• Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of municipal infrastructure experience
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Experience working as a Design Engineer
• Knowledge and application of Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications
• Knowledge of municipal and provincial approval processes
• Experience with watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, forcemain, grading plans and drainage design
projects
