We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to support our client, one of Canada's biggest telecommunications firms, in their Toronto office (hybrid - potential remote, or up to 3 days in office).

Responsibilities
•Maintenance of General Ledger and Production of Financial Statements
•Capital Asset Management and Costing
•Budgeting and Cash Flow Projections
•Responsible for the Project’s quality supporting proof that solution meets user expectations
•Engagement of SMEs from to support test case execution
•Accountable for the Timely delivery of test artifacts (TP/TCs/ Test Results) according to the project schedule to meet audit requirements
•Accountable for the Risk assessment, Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Cases
•Oversees day-to-day testing delivery. Ensures adherence to committed test execution timelines, SLAs and KPIs within the BU
•Support resolution risks/issues/blockers; Defect Management
Qualifications
•Formal accounting training, with preference being given to an individual with a CGA or CMA or CPA designation
•Several years’ experience in job related employment, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
•Exceptional computer skills with fluent knowledge of Oracle Cloud and Microsoft office.
•Has experience working with a leadership team.
•Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Is readily adaptable to changing economic, business and technological conditions
•Knowledge on Oracle A2R workstream (Knowledge on creating projects, Program, Asset entry, Depreciation, Capital Governance)
•ORACLE (1)
Nice to have:
•1+ years’ experience with ALTRYX software
•SQL (1)
