Our client is looking for a Data Entry Clerk for a 2 months contract in Toronto. This position is working a hybrid remote mode.

Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk, your duties will include but not be limited to:
● Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
● Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
● Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
● Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
● Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Qualifications
● 2 years previous Data Analyst experience
● Experience with Excel
● Ability to manage one's time and work within a team environment
● Written and verbal communication skills
● Accuracy and typing
● Attention to detail
Nice to Haves:
● Previous experience working within a financial institution
● Experience or knowledge with mortgages
