Responsibilities
The team is responsible for brand marketing for the Google Pixel smartphone in Canada. They run integrated campaigns throughout the year to drive awareness, consideration, and ultimately sales for Pixel.
Overall Responsibilities:
Supporting cultural and social marketing program that drive cultural relevance and premium perception of Pixel in Canada. This includes helping to manage key local cultural partnerships (e.g. NBA, Toronto Raptors, CCYAA).
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Executing a year-long content calendar to support local cultural/social marketing.
- Briefing and executing cultural/social marketing campaigns, including measurement and reporting.
- Briefing and executing paid social amplification, including measurement and reporting.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with a background in social marketing and/or partnership marketing
- Experience with analyzing large and complex data sets
- Experience managing first- and third-party research and tools.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical skills, with ability to see granular as well as big picture issues. Experience using SQL, R or similar tools for forecasting or modeling is a plus.
- Experience producing social media content.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing & Google products.
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple stories.
- Natural leader, with ability to act and challenge the status quo. Ability to be successful under limited or zero direction.
