Responsibilities
Develop and communicate SAP MP Quality Management objectives, including a risk assessment, scoping process, and SAP MP updates in both written and verbal updates to SAP MP Leadership
Develop and Lead Testing Strategies, Test Plans for each test phase, mentor testing team, and ensure traceability of processes to test scenarios and cases.
Manage the UAT execution with business and plan for other relevant test phases applicable to the project.
Responsible for the creation of both the Quality Management Strategy and Quality Management Plan that will define the quality standards that must be applied through the lifecycle of the SAP MP.
Define the processes to ensure the activities/deliverables in the SAP MP are completed to the defined standards including quality audits and assessments.
Support quality control and process owners in the implementation of quality control design improvement points and findings
Coordinate and participate in team meetings, acting as the central point of contact for SAP MP Quality Management.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years plus experience in a Test and Quality Management Leadership role, including Auditing, Test Lead, Test Strategies, and Testing on technology-intensive projects.
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a SAP quality and test management leadership role.
Experience with software development and the QA life cycle
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and overseeing quality management processes including the creation and management of quality assurance controls, inspections, and audits.
Acute attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure are critical attributes of the role along with communicating to project management with well-supported recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
External or internal audit background
Proactive and anticipatory in approach and style
Effectively interact with others to obtain required actions.
Strong team player
Ability to work independently and autonomously with little direction and guidance.
Willingness to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and requirements.
Demonstrated ability to communicate/facilitate effectively with diverse audiences using a variety of methods.
Ability to plan and prioritize work.
Desired Qualifications:
The Consultant ideally should fulfill the following desirable qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in a Quality and Test Management Leadership role in SAP projects.
Knowledge of SAP functional processes (e.g., finance, procurement EAM etc.)
Prior public sector experience (PNS, NSH/IWK or NSRCEs/CSAP preferred)
Team player qualities and the ability to set high-performance expectations within a team and be able to motivate
and support individuals to achieve them.
Quality Assurance certifications (e.g., Experience in ensuring compliance with international standards such as ISO
9001)
Prior experience with SAPSM (or its predecessor CIS Division in Quality Management role)
Prior experience using SAP Solution Manager (preferably version 7.2 Focused Build)
