Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Paint Mixer:
Measure and mix paint ingredients for desired colors.
Operate mixing equipment and conduct quality tests.
Document processes and maintain a clean workspace.
Forklift Operator-Yard Worker:
Operate a propane forklift to load/unload trucks.
Pick and handle materials like drywall and tape safely.
Assist in managing returns and storing items properly.
Keep yard and warehouse clean.
Qualifications
**Paint Mixer Requirements:**
- Experience in accurate paint mixing.
- Knowledge of color theory and mixing ratios.
- Ability to match colors to client specifications.
- Physically able to lift heavy paint cans and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail for subtle color variations.
**Forklift Operator-Yard Worker Requirements:**
- 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience.
- Valid Forklift Certification (a plus).
- Valid Working at Heights Certification (a plus).
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots (8” high).
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, frequently 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions.
- Flexibility for bi-weekly shifts and occasional overtime.
- Use of PPE as required.
