Responsibilities
- Ensure complete weekly payroll processing for over 300 hourly and salaried employees employees in Canada;
- Manage payroll deductions and government remittances;
- Manage the year-end process to ensure the accuracy of annual payroll data, which includes pension contributions, taxable benefits and production of required tax slips;
- Research and interpret labour standards and tax laws to ensure payroll compliance and ensure currency in these areas;
- Enter all required changes in our payroll and HR systems (hirings, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary changes, absences, etc.);
- Participate in month-end reconciliations with Finance;
- Prepare ad hoc payroll reports;
Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll
-Knowledge of Ceridien Day Force (an asset)
-Good knowledge of French and English
-ACP member (an asset)
