Responsibilities
Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information for 500 employees
• Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
• Process and records manual check calculations.
• Prepares RRSP monthly contributions.
• Reconciles monthly Health Insurance invoice.
• Assigning and recording identification codes in order to index materials for filing
Qualifications
-Excellent spoken and written level in English and functional French 7/10
- 2 to 5 years experience or more with payroll
-Good communication skills
-Knowledge of payroll year-end ( Asset)
-CPA ( Canadian payroll certification ( Asset)
-Knowledge of ADN Workforce Now ( Strong Asset)
