This includes the timely and accurate processing of payroll data, validating and balancing payroll processes, performing various administrative and administrative and accounting tasks such as data management and updating employee updating relevant employee information for payroll purposes.

Responsibilities
-Process payroll for all salaried and hourly employees, as well as, commission, bonus, and other special payments
-Receive timesheets, absences and other payroll inputs and review work hours for completeness and accuracy
-Ensure that hours are categorized and allocated to correct cost centers and entered or uploaded accurately to the payroll system
-Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and other
deductions
- Ensure accurate processing of sick pay, benefits, vacation payouts, etc.
-Reconcile payroll totals and ensure all deductions to are made as scheduled
- Create payroll profiles for all new employees as advised by HR
-Maintain employee profiles and payroll reports (vacation, time bank, statutory
holidays, pension plans, group insurance, clothing allowance, etc.), ensuring that they are up to date
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll
Experience with year-end reporting and liaising with external auditors.
Experience processing payroll with ADP WFN , Employer D, Ceridian (ASSET)
Advance knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Strong level of English, functional level of French
