Responsibilities
Pharmacist - Non-Retail and Community Pharmacy Careers - GTA - Future Opportunities
- Non-retail pharmacy settings like specialty pharmacy, LTC pharmacy, central fill and so on, tend to offer a very focused work environment where your duties are focused on team-oriented work and the accurate dispensing and verification of medications
- Community settings may also typically involve direct patient care and service including counselling, dispensing activity, clinical services and customer care
- Collaborate with various healthcare providers to manage patient medication therapy (each type of pharmacy setting requires a different type of communication with HCPs - talk to us about your likes and dislikes and we can help ensue you are aware of opportunities that will align with your expectations!
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy staff.
