We are supporting a national pharmacy client with their search for full-time, permanent Pharmacists (RPh) to join their brand new, state-of-the-art facility located in Moncton, NB. In this non-retail setting (the pharmacy is closed to the public and the Pharmacist would not be responsible for patient interactions), you will work with a team of other healthcare professionals and support staff to perform product checks and verification to support their high volume dispensing operations. This permanent career opportunity is full time (40 hour schedule (37.5 paid hours per week) + potential for voluntary overtime paid in accordance with Employment Standards Act.

There are two steady shifts that candidates may choose from - either steady morning shifts which run 6 am - 2 pm Monday-to-Friday or steady afternoon shifts which run Monday-to-Friday 2 pm - 10 pm. If candidates prefer to work Sunday-to-Thursday instead of Monday-to-Friday, that can also be arranged. There is no on-call required and overtime or weekend shifts are not required but may be available to be picked up at the employee's discretion.

This is a direct-hire position, meaning that a successful will be on the client's payroll from day one.

Responsibilities
Pharmacist - Moncton, NB - Healthcare

As a Pharmacist in this non-retail pharmacy setting, you will work with other team members to process vial and/or blister pack prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner. Your primary focus will be checking and verification, finding and resolving dispensing errors, collaborating with other members of the pharmacy staff, working with pharmacy software (Kroll) as needed and completing other technical and clinical tasks. You will be trained on how to work with the software and automation used in the pharmacy's operations and be responsible for ensuring that the utmost care is taken in the dispensing and delivery of prescriptions to patients. No patient interaction is required at this facility, and the workflow is scheduled and very regular so you will know what your day looks like ahead of time when you arrive for your shift each day. You will leverage your passion for patient care to produce and check prescriptions, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you must be:

- RPh licensed or complete your PharmD or BScPharm Program, sitting for exams in the fall and anticipate being licensed by the end of the calendar year
- Candidates with experience as a Pharmacist in any pharmacy setting are encouraged to apply; new grads are welcome!
- legally entitled to work full time hours in Canada
- interested in completing role and site-specific training/shadowing to set you up for success (prior experience in non-retail pharmacy setting not required)
