Responsibilities
As a Travel Risk Consultant for Physical Security, you will:
· Develop and implement Travel Risk Assessment evaluations, communication procedures, and documentation standards, while maintaining the existing program.
· Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and societal events of concern that could impact travellers, offices, or operations. Develop and maintain detailed country and sub-region threat profiles based on existing platforms, and maintain evacuation plans for high-risk areas.
· Support the Threat Intelligence role with actionable information, by compiling, analyzing, synthesizing, and disseminating concise strategic intelligence products in written and presentation form targeting key stakeholders
· Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of security tools and promote effective utilization and integration with existing systems
· Cross-functionality with other Physical Security roles, such as Physical Security and Threat Intelligence
· Maintain and develop subject matter expertise in a portfolio of threat profiles, activities, and trends that impact the company, its assets and employees from all available sources (open source, internal databases, etc…)
Qualifications
· Sense of initiative and demonstrated ability to develop a tailored programs to meet Physical Security requirements
· Well-developed interpersonal skills and ease of contact at all levels
· Strong written and spoken communication skills and professional redaction
· Bilingualism required
· Result-oriented, with the ability to organize and work either in a team or autonomously
· Ability to organize, coordinate and manage priorities
· Focus on continuous improvement and quality
· Consistent accuracy and attention to detail
· Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite
· Experience with industry standard Travel Risk programs and practices a plus.
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in international relations or any related field
· Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (corporate security, military, law enforcement, and/or intelligence community experience an asset)Familiarity with country risk profiles globally
