The Client Partner’s primary responsibility is to establish leadership in Randstad Digital’s service offerings in a particular industry vertical or group of accounts. Leadership is measured by the continuity of Randstad Digital operations established through profitable growth.
As a leader within the designated Randstad Digital industry/accounts, the Client Partner is a key contributor to the strategic direction of Randstad Digital. The Client Partner plays a pivotal role in the future success of the company by overseeing all sales responsibilities to drive differentiation and sustainability. The Client Partner is responsible for directing the growth of revenue and profitability by applying Randstad Digital’s mission, vision, and guiding principles to a sales plan for the industry and sets the Randstad cultural standard for actions that align with our corporate values. More specifically, the Client Partner will be charged with:
Key accountabilities:
- Lead the sales function and oversee the professional development of the senior leadership team in their industry / accounts; coach team members to perform to the maximum of their ability and co-ordinate the progressive skill development of employees
- Build a sustainable succession plan in order to ensure and be prepared for future growth
- Implement, track and monitor key performance indicators
- Meet or exceed revenue projections on a monthly/annual basis
- Ensure that gross margins targets are met and the industry / accounts meet profitability targets
- Measure and reward regional production results and sales activities
- Measure and reward margin levels and new client acquisitions
- Actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the branch as well as other departments across the company
- Continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives
- Overall financial, market share, public image, industry standing and general performance of the industry / accounts
- Create and maintain a positive company culture that supports employee and management participation and innovation in addition to financial and professional success in the marketplace
- Create regional market growth plans and strategies for each account
- Contribute to overall national plan for Randstad Digital and support strategic national initiatives
- Other responsibilities determined by business needs
Education & Experience
- University degree in business or related field preferred
- Experience managing a client portfolio P&L of $10+ Million dollars including reporting and metric assessment for the account
- 10 or more years of experience in a client-facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role in the IT professional services offshore/outsourcing industry
- A strong track record of managing different portfolios-ranging from sales, new sales, programs and existing business
- Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries and technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to make knowledgeable conversations with clients in Digital Area/trends in the industry
- Strategic thinking and the confidence and ability to plan ahead and stay the course
- Able to navigate a large organization, work in a multi-dimensional matrix and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence
- Understanding and thought leadership in technology, services and business trends and their direct and indirect impacts on the outcomes of the designated segment, including awareness of industry trends, challenges, opportunities and disruptors
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and client management skills are essential
- Ability to develop and nurture Trusted Partner-level relationships with both C-suite client contacts and internal stakeholders via a strong industry POV and understanding of client needs
- Experience as a top performing VP or Director, or demonstrated success as a Sales Manager in the recruitment industry
