Salary: $17.81 to $20.24 per hour
Fixed schedule: Monday to Friday, Possibility of shifts starting at 6 AM to 2:30 PM, 10 AM to 4:30 PM, or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
One-year contract
Hands-on experience with advanced insertion and mailing equipment
Potential for skill development in a print production environment
Responsibilities
Operate digital print equipment, including Black & White and Colour Copiers/Printers
Utilize workflow tools such as Free Flow and/or Fiery.
Operate standard finishing equipment like paper cutters, bindery machines, laminating, desktop folders, and drills.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer requests, providing estimates, scheduling, and tracking print production.
Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs.
Manage job tracking and storage for future reuse as required by customers.
Maintain accurate reporting logs for billing purposes.
Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of supplies.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues to ensure timely delivery and output.
Set up and run mail insertion equipment, resolving any issues that arise.
Accurately balance files and follow written instructions for processing various jobs.
Operate a standard manual pallet jack and manage physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a digital print shop and customer service environment.
Education: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Post-high school technology training or experience is preferred.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
