Responsibilities
- Issuing Purchase Orders for various components
- Purchasing all materials, including raw materials, project, and/or stock inventory.
- Assisting with receiving procured items
- Issuing Request For Quotations
- Maintaining shop supplies and replenishing as required
- Working with the sales department
- Assisting with kitting for machines/projects as required
- Confirming acknowledgments upon issuing a PO to a supplier
- Validating delivery dates for procured items – Updating management as required
- Managing the plant inventory
- Assist with arranging and monitoring all incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Assist with the preparation of custom and shipping documents.
Qualifications
- Engineering and strong technical design background an asset
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and creative personality
- Team player, able to work with our existing management, sales and engineering teams
- Strong project management skills
- Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done including irregular hours and above-average dedication to the job
