Responsibilities
Must be able to:
Must be able to independently troubleshoot mechanical issues
Assemble new and used pumps in addition to instrumentation diagnostics, seal leak and hydrostatic testing in order to repair defects
Will be responsible for disassembly, inspection, re-assembly and testing of repaired pump products in a rapid response, "quick ship" environment
Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints
Inspect pumps and equipment, checking dimensions of all critical components
Qualifications
Must have 3-5 years of experience in after-market repair and service of mechanical equipment
Experience with rotating pumps is an asset
433A Millwright license is an asset but not required
Experience with dismantling, cleaning, inspecting, grinding, under filing, sandblasting and assembling pumps and equipment while following all safety requirements and meeting tight deadlines
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, pressure gauges, meters, dial indicators, rulers and depth gauges
