Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries and resolving product-related issues, including participation in conference calls as needed.
Design product modifications based on customer requests.
Identify alternative products, components, and suppliers, facilitating the engineering process.
Maintain and update assembly instructions, BOM, ECN documentation, and new product introduction documentation for production.
Assist in building and testing prototypes to meet specifications.
Participate in production and quality control processes as necessary.
Inspect, test, adjust, and evaluate incoming electrical, electrotechnical, and electronic components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Proficient in MS Office and SolidWorks.
Proactive work ethic suitable for a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with various lighting controls (DMX, DALI, Lutron, Casambi) is advantageous.
Creative mindset for identifying innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Passion for process improvement and change management.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong commitment to team collaboration and success.
Solid decision-making and analytical abilities.
