Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager in Succession’s mission is to achieve the manufacturing objective associated with his or her unit's business strategy by optimizing available resources, rigorously applying business processes, and establishing an effective communication system. As a succession role, this position is specifically designed for training and preparing individuals to take over the role in the future. You therefore participate in the implementation of processes, practices, and tools specific to your unit aimed at optimizing operational efficiency. Additionally, you are responsible for building a mobilized and competent team and supporting their production efforts while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and health and safety. As a result, you contribute to the achievement of your unit's strategic plan by positively influencing the adoption of healthy and safe behaviors, operating costs, performance, and production capacity and quality.
