Responsibilities
• In collaboration with Pillar Leads, develop and manage work plans for one or more assigned Project Pillars.
• Contribute to definition of the overall project management processes, standards, and rules of engagement for all Pillars and ensuring compliance with same.
• Ensure project activities are executed according to the approved plans.
• Ensure that project scope and timeline are within the approved guidelines.
• Ensure all required management deliverables are produced (e.g., program plan, work plan, management reviews, requests for changes and outstanding issues) and seek approval when necessary.
• Manage project issues and risks and escalate as necessary.
• Ensure deliverables are produced, approved, and accepted in accordance with organizational standards.
• Communicate with and support the Pillars in applying defined project management processes and a project delivery framework.
• Support, guide, coach and assist team members as required.
• Ensure user experience (UX) is considered throughout the project phases.
• Advocates for the project.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing complex projects/programs.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing projects within a Project/Program Structure including matrix governance, collaboration with multiple PMO project managers in cross project scheduling and critical path management.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with managing large projects (preferably ERP solutions) in complex, multi[1]stakeholder environments.
• Experience managing a Project plan in support of Organizational Change Management.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Strong collaboration skills.
Desired Qualifications:
• PMP certification.
• SAP project implementation – experience leading and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP.
• Experience with projects in the adoption of various cloud-based solutions (e.g., SAAS, PAAS).
• Experience in managing projects/programs with a public sector organization.
• Experience working in finance and/or procurement or managing Finance and/or procurement projects.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with aligning project management with user experience.
