We’re looking for a Property Manager to manage daily operations, manage and develop site staff, and assure satisfaction of both staff and tenants.
Position: Property Manager
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (with on-call availability for major emergencies)
Salary:$70,000 - $85,000/year
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position that offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package and a positive team environment.

Responsibilities
•Manage 4 locations within the Montreal area
•Motivate and develop staff
•Optimize office efficiency and correspondence
•Maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction through excellent customer service and communication
•Complete required operating and financial reporting
•Manage budget, forecasting, and expenses
•Preparation of capital budgets to comply with company targets and expectations
•Review apartments at turnover and prepare a scope of work consistent with established renovation standards
•Ensure units are rent ready for move ins
•Ensure compliance with all legislation, including (but not limited to): Tribunal Administratif du Logement, RBQ, Labor Relations Act, Fire Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Risk Management
•Operate properties in accordance with policies and procedures within budget
•Participate in the planning of new development properties where applicable
•Authorize work orders and purchase orders
•Ensure the timely collection of rent
•Review and approve invoices according to standard policies and procedures
•Approval of new leases
•Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and completed, including the tender and award of various contracts
•Complete regular site inspections of properties
Qualifications
-Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism
-3+ years of experience in a supervisory role, ideally within property management
-Property Management/Real Estate experience is an asset
-Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
-Understanding of TAL legislation is an asset
-Possess knowledge of health and safety practices
-Available to work flexible hours (on-call for emergencies)
-Strong customer service experience
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism required).
-Strong administrative and organizational skills.
-Experience in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
