Responsibilities
- Support evolution of the public charging marketing strategy
- Work closely with the BC Hydro communications team
- Execute and or/project manage specific communications and marketing activities with relevant stakeholders including email newsletters, social media posts, bchydro.com content updates, call centre agent materials, paid advertising campaigns, support major awareness events and news releases
- Support regulatory rate pilots including testing and piloting pricing offers, incentives, acquisition programs, retention programs, A:B testing, track results, learn from those results to influence future rates and programs.
- Actively work with BC Hydro's EV network related product managers to incorporate improvements related to mobile app/digital experience, physical experience in-dealer experience, OEM software alignment, roaming, Plug&Charge and other opportunities
- Drive customer experience improvements to the EV buying process and how that improves EV owners first experience with public EV charging
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Exceptional verbal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience leading marketing and communication campaigns
- Knowledge and understanding of BC Hydro's business with EV Charging in British Columbia
- Strong interest in providing a high level of customer service and developing effective customer communications
- Experience in developing outcome-oriented communications and marketing campaigns (eg. user signups, revenue, sales, utilization, awareness)
- Experience in developing and monitoring key marketing related metrics
- Experience developing and leading marketing/communication roadmaps and project plans
- Experience developing and leading take to market plans and marketing strategies
- Excellent report writing, communication, facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills
Nice to haves:
- Experience with driving and recharging electric vehicle
- Automotive industry experience
- Marketing and product development
- Communication in utility, energy or e-mobility environment
- Regulated utility experience
Other requirements:
- Ability to attend in-person meetings at BC Hydro’s downtown Vancouver office at least twice a week
