Responsibilities
Activities:
Regular communication internally with sales and accounting and externally with customers,
suppliers, and connected services (transport, customs, etc…)
Responsibilities:
- Acquiring customer forecasting and demand
- Management of inventory planning and purchasing.
- Logistics (international transport, customs-duty, deliveries)
- Cost accounting
- Participation in new product development
- QC spec-sheet development, audit and intervention activities and records
- Negotiating with suppliers
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Analytical ability to rapidly calculate, plan and multitask with attention to detail.
- Pro-active attitude and an ability to identify and manage priorities.
- sense of urgency
- Organization and planning – respect of business procedures
- Active listening and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to negotiate (prices, payment terms, delivery dates…)
Skills and Knowledge:
- Bilingual (French/English) with excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work on Avantage (ERP) will be an asset.
- Ability to work in environment that changes quickly and constantly.
Requirements:
Three (3) of experience in purchasing or relevant business experience
- Experience in distribution or re-distribution or packaging products an asset
