Responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Supervisor are:
- Ensure Quality and Food Safety Management systems are maintained and reported directly to senior management.
- Supervisor of the Quality Assurance departemnt to ensure efficient operation
- Ensure staff completes daily testing and required paperwork.
- Sign off on CPP, product weights, scale checks, MMR, batch records, purchase orders, blend sheets ect.
- Review QA testing results daily
- Release raw ingredients and finished product
- Provide training for all staff
- Conduct audits, oversee the BRC Audit program
- Review and approval of SOP's and related GMP documentation.
Qualifications
Some of the Qualifications of the Quality Assurance - Technician are:
- strong attention to detail, organization skills
- 5+ years expereince working in a food Quality Assurance role
- Supervisor expereince required
- University/College Diploma in a Science or Food Science
- Expereince with SOP's, HACCP, GMP, BRC and other GFSI certification
- Experience with CFIA/FDA custoemr and third party audits
