The Quality Manager leads the department and its team, developing, implementing, and maintaining an efficient and cost-effective system to manage company-wide quality and reliability testing. This ensures that products and development processes meet safety, performance, reliability, and delivery standards while fulfilling their intended purpose.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety standards per company policies.
- Direct and optimize the Quality Department's utilization.
- Develop and implement quality standards and control systems.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
- Inspect and test materials, equipment, and products to meet quality specifications.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workflows.
- Investigate and resolve product and production issues with corrective actions.
- Review and validate codes, specifications, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with IPC, UL, CSA, ISO, company QMS, and customer requirements.
- Support new projects with CTQ drawings and production gauges.
- Perform WIP inspections, final QC, reporting, data collection, and corrective actions.
- Monitor first-piece inspections, analyze trends, and reduce rework/scrap.
- Assist customer service, manufacturing, supply, and design problem-solving.
- Lead and mentor quality inspectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field; post-secondary education in Manufacturing or Quality preferred.
- PMP and ASQ certifications are assets.
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, assurance, or related roles.
- Proven expertise in quality assurance, control, and project management.
- Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
- Familiarity with an ERP Software is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills for data assessment and trend analysis.
- Effective communicator across all levels and cross-functional teams.
