Responsibilities
The following are your responsibilities for this junior Accounting Analyst position for this leader in the real estate industry;
- In collaboration with the Operations department, create, review, analyze and manage regional budgets and financial reports.
- Manage and supervise real estate analysts.
- Responsible for forecasting.
- Coordinate feedback on variances associated with operations.
- Manage specific property schedules and prepare regional/portfolio analyses such as property valuations and mortgage schedules.
- Is responsible for the preparation of regulatory filings.
- Preparation of regional reporting package.
- Preparation of potential above legal rate increases (ASTL), rent reduction notes (NORR) and setting and meeting regional continuity schedules.
- Manage fiscal accounting and analysis.
- Assist with property acquisition and disposition needs.
- Serve as liaison with external parties as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- 1 to 2 years or more experience in preparing financial statements.
- Experience in budget management and analysis.
- Very good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
