Responsibilities
Logistics Clerks and Customer Service Representative's within the Transportation Industry are mainly responsible for:
- Processing client requests on incoming and outgoing orders
- Maintaining the relationship with clients by phone and emails
- Updating the computer system with accurate shipment information
- Processing and preparing shipment documentation (BOLs, PODs, Waybills, and more)
- Verification of inventory
- Carrier relations / driver relations
- more other related tasks can be added (billing, invoicing, collections, track & trace, etc)
Qualifications
- Most companies require French and English skills to service all clients
- Recent graduate with an AEC in Transport & Logistics or related field is also considered an asset
- Passionate and eager to learn and grow in the industry
- Strong customer service and organizable skills
